Hm, during July 4th we got these cheap party crackers from Walmart designed to pass as fireworks (I think they built a road over the place we used to get fireworks at or something). One of the fireworks’ shape was worrying. It was shaped like a gun and you pulled this little trigger thingy to shoot it. Makes me worry about the influence of items on children these days.

Another unrelated note, while at HEB, the guy behind the seafood counter smiled and me, so I smiled back and he’s like “Nice to see you smile for once”. “…” “DX” Well that’s what was going on mentally, at least. It brings up a few interesting things about me though.
- I don’t smile when there’s no reason to. But I do take every chance to smile to smile D=
- When I’m not smiling it looks like I’m glaring or sad. Like my littleLeevi glare, though hopefully not that bad.
- People I don’t know seem to notice and actually remember me. I walked into a frozen yogurt shop once and the guy behind the counter’s like “oh, you were at the piano festival a few weekends ago, weren’t you?” “erm, yeah” “Yeah I saw you there” “erm, great”. And this kind of stuff happens to me all the time. Maybe something about being the only tall asian around, sticks out? iunno
